On The Phantom 3 I could choose three modes for waypoint flight . One was called "free" which when selected allowed me to turn the camera / aircraft in any direction while the aircraft maintained course and speed . I don't see it on P3 Advanced and the camera does not even follow the heading . In six legs I am flying backward in 3 . Is there away to get control of the camera ?

There is.... When you select the way point, tap in it again... It will open up a window with a compass and inside is the arrow. Use your finger to turn the arrow and it will set the drone in that direction
