Fpv screen and tablet? whats the diff?

Hey guy yes a total newbie question but i have to ask....
What is the difference between a tablet for FPV or one of them monitors with the antenna?

Depends, what Phantom do you have?
The FC40, P2V, P2V+, P3 series, and P4 all use tablets/smartphones as a display, with the DJI GO/Pilot app controlling a lot of the functions.
An FPV monitor would only show the live feed, and only from a P1 or P2 equipped with a capable FPV broadcasting solution.

FPV is a display device which shows what your camera is viewing (First person view). P3 has its built-in antenna onto P3 and RC so you don't need any externals whereas in old models you need additional equipment to transmit from aircraft and receive on the controller.
