First flight of the year - Not good!

So I got my P3S out today for the first time in a while. I'm a fair weather flyer! Anyway I tried a short test in my back yard to make sure the hibernation hadn't taken a toll. I tried to inspect my roof and lost signal before I got to the top of my normal sized roof. So that's a 30 foot range.

I did apply the latest firmware and I am now on an iPhone 7plus. But come on! I could almost touch it and there was no signal. Any tips?

Did you have clear LOS all the times?

Yeah. Tried varying the aerial angle as well. The thing was only 20-30feet away tops.

In the garden, in front of a house with wifi, next door to neighbors with wifi, maybe it's wifi interference ?
Try an open area and let us know
