Firmware Upload Issue

Hi fellow dronies

I'm looking for help in resolving a firmware upload issue. The download to the i-Pad mini was successful but during the upload to the drone it froze at 45%. I waited about 10 minutes more but the only thing that was happening was the gimble shaking like crazy. It was leaking me out so I turned off the drone ( not wise) in order to try again. When i powered up the drone it just lets out a loud beep and two motors do a quick shake. Would a reset be in order ? Any assistance would be great. I hate being grounded

Assuming your Phantom was in working order before you attempted the firmware update, it should complete on its own if you power it back on and wait until it stops beeping. Make sure you insert a fully charged battery just in case it takes a while for the update to finish installing.

Thanks Msinger, i will certainly give it a try. And yes, the drone was functioning beautifully prior to but those "firmware update" messages wore me down.
