Is the FAA going to come out with anything so don’t have to take the test. Like just pay a fee or something. Like your drivers license or boaters license. You take the test once and your good.
Only thing I spotted on the FAA site for sUAV was this: "Valid for 2 years – certificate holders must pass either a recurrent online training course OR recurrent knowledge test every two years." We probably won't know anything specific until August when the anniversary date of this 107 thing started. I asked at the testing center where I took mine and got the "Huh?" about it. Feds don't move with lightning speed to do anything, imhe.

The online test will most likely be for FAA Part 61 pilots only.

I can't see a drone skills test being implemented as most FAA testing centers are at an airport where the drones cannot fly at anyway.
I don't think anyone suggested that.
