so I've ordered the 4 (along with spare battery, case, Chargers, filters,etc) so looking forward to flying it! Question: on my 2+, I loved the home lock feature- is there something similar on the 4? Like I say: looking forward to flying this....

yes , but its done in software. was more convenient to have a switch on the controller, but its a trade off worth making due to the other improvements with DJI GO.... with that being said i'm not sure what happens if the app crashes while using home lock.
If the app 'crashed' whilst using home lock, either you could take over manual control with the RC, or initiate a RTH automatically. I've never had the app crash on me but maybe others have?
