Thank you. Yes, the landscapes in Iceland are primal and the absence of trees give them an alien feel.

Very good catch! You're right, it is a deserted area (the Highlands are uninhabited) but the old rough track that runs by the mountain is a gateway to the southern Highlands and there will be the very occasional vehicle. The remains of an old farm with a lone house are also seen.
