I had the same thing happen. Ended up using the "graduation cap" fix, which sets it back to an old version, then the upgrade from the app works.on restart my bird wouldn't link RC had all white lights.. However the app said latest was installed.

Did your controller arrive back yet?Still waiting on my controller to come back. Last update literally erased all firmwear on it and i couldn't get any version back on it. Hopefully they will ship it out on Monday... Ugh.
What is the "graduation cap fix"?
The RC. Then when you connect to it again with the app, the app will upgrade the RC again. So it downgrades the RC or Go App?
It did...They decided to send me a new controller. Synced up no issues and I may get to fly some tomorrow but don't know how my weekend will go yet. I'll check out your group and maybe I'll join you guys sometime.Did your controller arrive back yet?
This looks like an interesting opportunity to fly this weekend!

I did the same and switched back to my iPad mini2..been running flawless nowI installed Go App 2.8.0 and had initial trial runs on P3 and all seem to be GOOD. More results to come later.
Here we go (no pun) again. It just updated to 2.8.1 today.I did the same and switched back to my iPad mini2..been running flawless now![]()
Exactly haha! I took that update too. I'm going to keep everything updated from now on. That way if there is ever a glitch and I crash hopefully they'll back it on warrenty . I'd hate to have something happen while still on an older version and potentially lose out completelyHere we go (no pun) again. It just updated to 2.8.1 today.
DJI has more updates than Windows. As long as things get better each time - right?
