DJI care refresh - what is the advantage?

Hi guys,

I am thinking of purchasing DJI care refresh but don't really understand what the $59 are for if in case of a replacement I have to pay another $79. So, let's say I don't want the drone to be replaced for this additional fee, what would be the exact advantage of DJI CR?

Ah. In that case, there would be no advantage if you don't need to replace the Phantom. Like any extra insurance you buy, there is no way to tell ahead of time if you'll ever need it.

Ok. So the $59 is the price for the insurance and the $79 would be like a deductible?

It allows you to completely replace your Phantom twice within one year. The first replacement fee is $69. The second replacement fee is $79.

You can also get insurance thru State Farm for around $60.00 per year and no deductible
