The option in the software is misleading, yes, but with no harm.

totally agree.. thats what i was trying to say.. that is misleading to some people and accidents may occur if someone is in a hurry

Who right-minded would do that midair with no reason, just to check it?

dont say that.. here is a guy (obviously out of his mind!!) who did that at 1.28

hello.. ive tried the old way csc (nobody have seen the attached log )

You said yourself in your post earlier that you used the stick plus button method in your response to msinger’s pictures of each option. You again said it yourself in your post a bit later.

Sorry, my bad for assuming you actually did use the stick plus button method.

im attaching the messages that i guess you are seeing as well with both options..

option one says about stick & button cuts motors
option two says that if you disable emergency stop drone is not gonna drop like a rock if you pull the stick and press the button

message that says that you cant stop motors in an emergency is miseleading as stick and button cuts the motors.. drone overrides whatever app says and i dont understand why this option (in the app) exists..
thats what i was trying to say..

That is exceptional! I always wanted to know which height is necessary for the Phantom to restart its motors and fly again after shutting down.
