May I ask why you have 36? Curious here...Thanks guys. I am not sure it will affect the battery being secured, I have not been using them but it is annoying, fortunately I have 36 batteries. I was hoping to buy new plastic cases but not sure how easy then replacement will be.

Replacing the end cap on the 5870's is a breeze, 2 screws and it pops off. The body, however, is glued beyond that. The original P4 batteries don't have the screw, so I'm not sure about those. Thanks guys. Sorry if I misled you. I didn't find replacements, I just disassembled a bloated one, to see how it was made. I guess I need to start keeping the parts, eh?Where did you get the replacement end caps for the batteries? I have three with very low hours and hairline cracks.
Thank you.
