yes, you simply put the SD card in the quad and turn it on, remember to extract the file from the zipped up media it comes in,
You put the firmware file in the root of the SD card on the AC turn it on and wait. Question though, have you tried relinking using the remote and button on the AC?
I have tried to link my controller to the P3P using the normal method (including the button on the side of the VPS housing) but it doesn't work, possibly due to a prior crash. I am able to link the remote to my other P3P without problem so I don't think it's an issue with the remote.
