Can I charge the battery and remote at the same time ?

Seen 2 guys on you tube saying Dji advanced don't recommend charging the battery and remote together ? Why would they make a charger that can do booth ?

The manual states that this practice is not recommended as the charger may overheat. My theory is that the charger was made as it is to avoid having two chargers vice just one.

Like bnty22 said, according to the manual, you should not. I also agree with bnty22 on the two chargers theory. If you would like to charge the battery and remote at the same time, you should just get a separate charger. This probably isn't necessary as the remote's battery lasts a long time (unless you fly A LOT).

If the ambient is 40deg Celsius, then just charge one but if you have cold ambients, you can charge both. I do it.

Yep you can charge both at the same time, plenty of evidence on this forum to back that up

I charge both from time to time, no problem. Compared to my laptop charger, it's nice and cool
