I am in the midst of a Costa Rican photo trip - taking off and landing in locations under thick tree canopy. My P3Pro crashed in the tree cover. It has been flying well despite some significant motor issues. I easily fly to 700 feet - required for many shots - with excellent control. The main camera strut cracked, and the left side of the "wire tape" (photos) tore. I used epoxy to repair the strut (the camera was just hanging there). The gimbal does not work at all, so I positioned the camera forward with bandage tape. Amazingly, the bird still takes excellent stills and video still works, although there is no camera stabilization. This is amazingly resilient machine!!
Questions: When I return to the States, how should I proceed re. the camera - will I need to send it in for service? Importantly, any ideas re. improving pic quality re. drone and camera?
