Just confirming that you want a backpack and not a case...

If, as you state, you want a backpack, then it will be significantly larger than any run-of-the-mill, props-off backpack, maybe uncomfortably so.

I just Googled 'Phantom 3+backpack+props on' and amongst the results I found this:- How to carry Phantom 3 in backpack with prop guards

Some of the results are a bit old, but if you do the same, you'll probably find some more information.

I think you're out of luck finding a backpack that will accommodate normal props mounted on the Phantom. However, there are aftermarket sellers who offer foldable props for the Pantom, which likely fit in a case while mounted.

I have a cheaper version of that bag that I bought from eBay and it works great to keeping my Phantom stuff together. I don't know if it's a knockoff or the same bag, just from a different vendor.
Iyfnn

With the lack of 'Manfrotto' being mentioned anywhere, I'd guess it is a knock-off - but some of the copied stuff is just as good, and often of the same - or even of superior quality to the original.

From the photos, if that's what you received then it looks really good - although, of course, I can't judge the quality of the zips/stitching etc, etc, just from the pics.

But if you're happy (I would be I think :)), then 100+USD saving on the 'genuine version, (as opposed to the 'genuine 'ULTIMAXX' article that you have), is, it has to be admitted, a HUGE saving.

But having looked at all the pics of your backpacks, I have to ask @anotherlab and @JetLife , do these backpacks actually take a Phantom 3 or 4 with props still attached? I would guess not, which is not what the OP is looking for.

While you can't store the Phantom with blades on, the Manifrotto/Ultimaxx backpack let you secure the Phantom on the outside of the backpack. If you are hiking around, it lets you carry the Phantom without having to take on and off the blades.

OK - thanks for that info which I hadn't been aware of as I hadn't read all the reviews.

So I guess that this could be a useful idea for the OP... a not-too-massive rucksack for props off and all the bits inside, or the drone outside and the bits still inside.

The other 'all-inclusive' option for the OP is a pretty over-large backpack for props on, some of which are linked to in my first post on this thread.

So you takes your choice... :)
