The standard DJI app will do that. Just install the phone app on your iPad. It works fine.

Are you going to settings on you iPad and connecting to the Phantom SID wireless connection and getting confirmation that it's connected?
The. Wifi extender and the quad have to be powered on. Be sure you have the RC on before powering up the quad.

I had the same problem but find the screen that says iPhone only.
