Anyone using a gimbal/landing gear protection?

Your more brave then I am Xave.. that makes me nervous just looking at it. At least the others go into the legs to brace it. That one is connected to the most expensive item on the quad. One snag from a root or crack in the driveway and your snapping that off and taking out the props and whos knows what else.

This is like the one I have on my P2 & P3. Prints easy and clamps on tight. Never had a problem of it being in my view, or causing an issue while landing. It did however save my gimbal on a rough landing the other day.

I bought the one listed on Shapeways.com for the phantom 3, it's the 2 inch model.
