Which Controller should I use for my new P4?

I have a 6 month old P4 controller that I installed an HDMI module on that I have not even used yet btw. Should I use the new controller that comes with my bird today? Or go back and bind it with my controller that I already have with the HDMI module on it? I will def want to use the module for goggles in the not too far off future btw. So I'm asking is it real easy to bind this new bird to old controller? Thanks for any help guys!

Both remote controllers will be the same model, so it doesn't matter which one you use.
