Upgrade camera on advanced

I already have a Gopro black that shoots 4K. So can I just buy the advanced phantom and swap the camera if I want 4K? I'm trying to avoid paying for a 4K camera twice.

A GoPro cannot be attached to the Phantom gimbal. If there was a way to attach it, it would likely cost much more than the difference between the Advanced and Professional models.

I was thinking of machining an attachment point. Think it would work?

If you take into consideration what some were able to develop for the P2V+, I'd say anything is possible if you have enough knowledge, skill, money, and time to spend. At the end of the day though, it's going to be far cheaper to just buy the P3P.
