Yes, it is. One of my favorite locations nearby.

Some 40 years ago, I lived nearby. We used to swim in the Helomavaart and to fish at the Scheenesluis.

We live in Limburg, but had a family reunion this weekend near Lemmer.
Yesterday we visited this area to show my children.
I haven't been there for at least 10 years. This is really a coincidence.
