Central Sierra looking east. Caples lake on left and Kirkwood ski resort in right background. The snow is blowing off the cornice on the right---a strong north wind came up as high pressure built in behind latest storms. A local resort report 380 inches of snow on the ground. 30 feet. I am flying every chance because 2017 will be a "yardstick" for future winters. This is four images from P4 merged in Elements on an iMac 27. It's 25 MB and you can reach in and touch the snow. I still want the P4 pro to see what that sensor can do. I'll post the video later today here.
