RTF button on RC doesn't work

When I press the RTF button on the RC I only hear a peep and no RTF procedure starts (Android after firmware upgrade to newest and actual app version).

No idea whether it worked with previous versions of firmware and app? Never tried before.

Anyone has same issues?

You are pressing it for 3 seconds, right?
And the bird is more than 60 feet away from home point, right?

Distance is okay but never pressed it 3 seconds.

That is most likely your issue. Freaked me out at first also.

Also avoid the temptation to press again 'because it didn't work' - it does seem to pause briefly perhaps so you can cancel - by pressing again - if it was a mistake.
