I crashed my P3S to the pole with high speed causing some damage to the drone. After thorough investigation everything seemed to be fine except some damage to gimbal arm and cut/broken ribbon cable, broken prop guards and a dented landing leg.
The drone seems to work without any noticable problems. Naturally there's no camera feed available, while waiting to receive a new ribbon cable I removed the whole camera and I'm no flying without the camera. I get slow blinking green lights so the GPS signal is received and I can control the drone with my RC. The only problem seems to be that I can't get any drone data to the DJI Go app. Everything says n/a or empty. Basically this also means that I can't reconfigure the IMU or Compass.
After searching all over the place on these forums, DJI forums and Youtube I have no narrowed down the cause to be in the RC while it has the red light next to the power button.
I have now tried every trick or tip I have found except the firmware downgrade due the fact I can't do it manually until the new ribbon cable arrives. One noticable thing was that while the broken ribbon cable was still attached the drone was bleebing didi-didi-didi like it does while upgrading the firmware. After the gimbal and camera was removed this sound disappeared.
If I power down the RC and the drone and restart I get the green light under the drone but the remote stays on red.
As said, I have tried every instruction I have found before and after the gimbal removal...
1. I uninstalled the DJI Go app and relinked the RC and drone multiple times, still getting red signal on RC
2. I tried to relink the RC by pushing the dial to the left and switching S2 switch until the RC bleebs and pushed the reset button from the drone like hundred times with no luck, still getting red signal on RC
3. I tried to renew the wifi connection by pushing the dial the right and switching S2 switch, still getting red signal on RC
Any advice how to link the RC with the drone or what might be broken inside the drone? Maybe the problems is with the downlink from the drone. Maybe something else? The RC hasn't got any hits so I doubt the problem is inside the RC if it is not a firmware issue.
