RC flasing red and beeping constantly

The RC for my P4P will not stop beeping once it is turned on and the status light flashes red constantly. I've tried to link the RC with the drone as per the DJI instructions but with no success. I can still fly the drone but the beeping is incredibly distracting. Any suggestions?

Have you recently tried to update RC?

Did you drop the RC?

Most the time constant beeping means the controller needs calibrated. You can find the calibration link in the GO4 app, just follow the directions to move the controls full deflection each way when prompted.

The drone and remote controller are already linked properly if you can fly.

Try calibrating the remote controller in DJI GO like this:
