RC cant link to the aircraft after update

Hello people!
A friend of mine bought a P3S and was a bit inpatient and didnt wait for me.

He tried to update it to 1.7.9.It seems to got the update but the R/C cant connect to the aircraft again.He has image on his phone,the R/C light is green bu the craft's light keeps being red.

He did the whole bindind procedure a few times,but with no luck at all.What could be wrong?
