Phavic Conversion is it safe?

hi everyone,

i just want to know if it is safe to convert my phantom 3 into a Phavic?
i've just read some comments that it will cut the flight time and overheated the battery. is the Phavic shell heavier than the original shell? is the performance of the phantom improve?

Following this with interest as I have been debating this conversion for a while. To handle the overheating aspect I think most people have been simply drilling extra holes to get more airflow
