I wonder how this would work? Limited to areas covered by cell coverage, but inexpensive?

This tracker communicates via Bluetooth. That means someone who is running the TrackR app would have to be within about 33 feet of your Phantom. It might be a worthwhile investment if you only fly in heavily populated areas.
