I have a P3S and i crashed it not so long ago. Since then I have purchased a second one and am about to get that up and about. But after trying to update my old ones firmware, I have found out that the camera is a must!
So can I update without a camera?
Is there a way for me to get the telemetry data without updating? Currently I have the Gimbal circuitboard on, as I read that it plays a vital part in the telemetry path and without it connected there is no return path for the 2.4ghz feed.
But when I fly (not current firmware) it will display telemetry for a bit, but then it will say "update firmware" and all telemetry data will vanish. And it will continue to cycle like this.
I don't need a camera on it, though I would like to be able to fly it with full functional GPS and Telemetry.
Also it did seem to not like P mode so much. Although it held really well, it said signal was weak and asked for me to turn on my mobile gps.
Any help would be great.
