P4P JPEG vs RAW

Just upgraded from a P4 basic to a P4P. Very surprised that the photo and video quality auto/defaults were better on the P4 basic model. Also when I shoot JPEG + RAW the JPEG is sharp but the .DNG file is blurred! Very strange. Has anyone experienced this problem?

The size difference of the sensors helps explain some of the improved quality
