P2 FPV terrible signal, horizontal lines

I just bought an FPV setup for my DJI Phantom 2, I've got a gopro3 on there right now with Zenmuse Gimbal.
FPV Setup:
Black Pearl Monitor 7 Channel Diversity
Fat Shark Circular Polarized Antenna
DJI iOSD mini
Immersion RC 600mw Transmitter

I plugged everything in, watched plenty of tutorials on how to do this but when I start it up I get the connection and can see the gopro but when I take it more than ~30 yards away the screen will go gray and then soon it will just go blank, yet i still get the information from the iosd just on a blank screen. Also it doesn't matter how close I am to the drone, theres always a horizontal bar that jumps around the screen. Did i do a terrible solder job? I'm a noob to that stuff so its possible. Tried channel 7 and 4, no difference. Gopro and screen are on NTSC

A lot depends on the TX and the antenna position and also those on the monitor. The antenna on the P2 is a DJI cover leaf RX instead of a TX just a bet longer and those on the monitor are stock good up to 500 meters.
