Phantom 3 SE is the latest addition to the Phantom 3 series, which is connected to DJI GO App via WiFi signals, with image transmission and control distances of up to 4 km, supporting 4k video recording. Equipped with visual positioning system, indoor and other non-GPS signal environment can also be accurate hover, stable flight.
Phantom 3 Standard connects to DJI GO App via WiFi signal and supports 2.7k video recording. Image transmission and control distance of 1 km, no visual positioning system.

Perhaps they are just testing it out to see how well it sells. It's similar to the P34K and that model was pretty short-lived.

Maybe china use different channels / frequencies and that's why its only released there, and that's why it can go so far.

Are you sure google translate means feet as meters !? 4 km, on wi-fi, china doesn't use other frequencies... as i know :/

4000 feet = 1219.2 meters , from google.
4000 meters = 13 123.3596 feet, from... google too.

hum i think it's just a translation... problem.

A same price compared to Phantom 3 Standard but with more awesome performance, a better option in Phantom 3 series. But why it is available in China mainland only?

Well if it's better than the other 4K it's a good one.
Mine with the itelite panel goes farther than the battery
will take it in a no noise area.
Why it was short-lived I don't know .
If they bring this one over I'll have one.

No I would just ditch the Standard and put it on that bench
and it would still look the same to the wife.
Done got it figured out captain.
