Finding working ones has been incredibly difficult. The only thing I found that I had were a couple USB-C to USB-C cables that both work when a USB-A to C adapter is attached to them (not ideal).

It shouldn't be a problem finding a good USB cable.
Ebay or Amazon have hundreds available.
Just make sure you get a data cable, not one that's only good for charging.
