I left the radio stopped for a long time, now the battery no longer charges, where should I put heat?

So looking at that, I see large NXP uC, Cypress USB controller with small 51-like uC inside, and DJI chip which implements digital part of communication protocol, that's probably not programmable.
On second side, there are only smaller chips - voltage regulators, and serial flash.
So from that, I assume you'd like the NXP chip to switch to bootloader mode.
If I was trying to do that, I'd start by reading NXP chip datasheet and programmers guide.
