GPS and P4

Tried to get an answer from DJI -- but . . . Q: my external GPS/Glonass receiver Bluetooth'd to iPad Air 2 when performing 'follow me' worked well with P3S -- is this same setup useful for P4? Does the recognition thing void all need for it? -or- is there another use?

The P4 also has the Follow Me feature. And, you can use an external GPS receiver with your mobile device.
