Wondering what the difference between the "Go 4", and the "Pilot" apps. Is one better for actual "drone control" when flying then the other?

The DJI Pilot app is similar to DJI GO 4, but it was designed to be used with enterprise drones like the Mavic 2 Enterprise. You should use DJI GO 4 with any Phantom 4 model.

I didn't know. I assumed you were using a Phantom 4 model since Phantom 4 models are only compatible with DJI GO 4.
