Ebfoxbat, do you still do it this way? I have all these nice 4K videos which are completely unusable in Dashware. Can you tell me more precisely what you do in Final Cut? I have never used it...Yeah that'd be good...
I imported a 1080p green screen (generated from Final Cut) into DashWare. I then rendered the gauge on the green screen from DashWare.
The green+gauge gets put on top of the 4k in Final Cut and the green gets composited out. You see the result.
The gauge is stretched 4x (as 4k is 4x1080) which is why it's soft.. But it would be just as easy to leave it 1/2 height and it would be sharp.
With that particular gauge style I though it more important that it fill the right side than be perfectly sharp.
