Extension cable no line of sight

Hello All new user.

I just purchased a Phantom 3 and I am looking to fly my unit from inside my home and airplay to my tv. I was wondering if I could run cables and attached a second set of antennas to the highest point of my home so I could get the best reception or line of sight possible while operating indoors.

I would think transferring information that far could cause a receiving lag. In theory, it sounds like it would work. Is this for a handicapped person?

It's pretty simple with the P3S since it uses wifi. Just connect the Appletv to your controllers wifi network. Haven't tried yet with my P3P.

Practice using Airplay as you'll have a degree of LAG so don't fly close to objects and don't fly faster than the lag time. I've done it several times but I just don't feel comfortable doing it except to test on quick hops.
