Does opening void warranty?

I made another post about an issue I'm having with a clicking motor but while I'm waiting to hear back from DJI I wanted to take a look and see if it can be fixed. Will opening the case to look at the motor void the factory warranty? I can't find anything regarding it either online or in the manual.

Yep your warranty will be null and void assuming that it is new, or return it to the place of purchase for either refund or exchange. I'd be waiting for advice from dji, I suspect that they will be busy this time of year....

Thanks for the reply. When I first contacted them they got back to me immediately but now I've been waiting all day. Hopefully I hear something soon
