Hello everybody,
In the last few weeks I've been promoting the 'Digital Biosphere' project which aims to achieve 2 main goals:
1. 98% accessibility to nature and natural reserves from anywhere and anytime
2. Allow interaction with nature thru advanced technology (Augmented reality mostly)
In order to achieve this I've start to create digital pockets of natural reserves in Israel. I've used the phantom3 drone + HD cameras + Agisoft/PIX4D for processing.
The results is good so far. However I need some help in order to improve the results:
1. Is there a post or an article with the best explanation for using drone and ground cameras ? Currently I am learning as I go.
2. How about using video and processing selected photos from the thousands of stills?
3. Is anybody interested in expending the project outside of Israel? I am building a site that will allow people to upload their models to a GIS layer. I hope to create a global network of the such site.
I've opened a facebook page for the project and welcome everybody to join and help. You can upload all your models and ideas there.
