The aircraft its self to an iMac itself using the USB cable that came with the phantom? If you can, Are you able to get the full resolution? Thanks Again

It's easier and much faster to pull the SD card, place it in an adapter and copy to your computer.
The images on the SD card are full resolution.
Not completely familiar with the iMac, but if you power up the craft and then connect the USB cable to the craft and the computer, you should see a folder appear containing DCIM and the sub folders with the images/movies.
As others have mentioned, it's MUCH easier just to plug the MicroSD card into a USB card reader.
