Camera swap

Hello all!

New here. I bought a wrecked P4P+ yesterday for an insanely low price. The gimbal arms and ribbon cable are totally destroyed. I have a P4A that is in working order. Would I be able to swap the camera from the P4A to the P4P+? I know they have the same specs. Assuming it is the same unit. Both sides of the landing gear on the P4P+ are broken and. I would have to replace those as well. What are your thoughts? Worth the swap?

Yes, same camera. There really is no such thing as a p4p+ aircraft.
The + just refers to the controller screen.

P4A is the same basic drone without the barely useful side sensors. The new + remote is better than the 300C on the 4A and can be used on all the P4 v1 models. Change models under advanced settings. Easier than all that work switching over.

Use the + controller with your P4A if you want it's brightness, and keep the P4P for it's spare camera. So much work to replace legs and camera to use the P4P, and as Capt KO said, all you gain is the extra sensors.

I am pretty sure the legs will not swap over.
