Battery Storage!

I keep my batteries topped up to the recommended storage levels between my breaks from flying but I was wondering if was ok to keep a battery in my phantom during my not flight periods As the battery is in storage mode can it still puff out causing damage to the internal components of the drone??

If the battery is at storage level then it should be fine but, in any case, I've never seen a battery expand enough to damage an aircraft.

It is generally regarded as better to separate battery and aircraft. Its only the older models with buried Rx power cells that get left on board.

As to getting stuck ? I have one pack that the plastic bar across top middle of pack is slightly bowed up. This means I have to just tweak it down to slide in. It also makes it a bit more tug to get out. Battery is fine though.
