Advanced. I thought was 2.7K?

I just got an Advanced from BHPhoto and the box says 1080p cam on the side. I bought it because I thought it was 2.7k...did I get the wrong model?

Also, save for the fact that box seems like it was opened once (I haven't opened it yet personally), I know that sometimes there are good versions and bad versions of hardware. Are there good and bad versions of the Advanced? Any telltale signs that would indicate as such?

It's 2.7K. When the box was printed DJI was limiting the camera to 1080.

Firmware update in September I believe when from 1080 to 2.7k

Yes, if you update the firmware (or it already has been), you'll be able to record at 2.7K.
