I agree that is what is going on. I spoke with DJI (for the 4th time) and they said that it is a sensor flaw and to request a refund from the dealer as it is malfunctioning. So now I don't know what to think Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots

I did try that as well. Reset the IMU, did a compass recalibration. Basically everything they recommended. I think it seems to not be a good design element, but DJI says it's normal. Curious if anyone else has seen any behavior like this. Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots

It varies on conditions, but I have gotten about 1.5-2 miles in the suburbs of Phoenix where I am located. In the desert with nothing around to impede the signal I've gotten it out to 3 miles. Aim is really the most important piece in the equation. Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots
