Re: What's Needed To 'Upgrade' The FC40 Keep us posted! I agree the SJ4000's wifi range is absolute garbage, so I've kept using the FC40 camera for video feed but it's never pointed the same way as my gimbal is tilted so my video is crap!

the sj4009 WiFi model is actually way less leggy than the GoPro so it could be usable for fpv but they both have crappy range. I've been trying to work with a repeater but it's pretty unreliable, and the app kinda sucks (barely runs at all on my Kindle Fire which has the best WiFi of anything...

If you remove the camera that came with your FC40 and replace it with a GoPro, there's no 2.4ghz (wifi) link anymore. It's a part of the FC40's camera.
