Pretty sure my dad got that same one. It too updated fine and no issues. That Chinese writing made us wonder if it was just imported Chinese stock or something. Either way, works as good as the others!

+1 for Amazon. That's where I got my P2P. I feel safe with eBay too as long as I can use PayPal and the seller has solid feedback. But there is something to be said for being able to drive back to the store to return if needed.

I use wifi iPad mini 2. Works perfect. No battery issues, no over heating, smooth as butter. I wouldn't want to go bigger. I think iPad mini is the perfect size

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't want to further split the crack and have it spread. Plus this method seems to stop it in its tracks.

I use super glue with baking soda. Quick, easy, cheap, and turns to rock hard cement almost instantly. So far it's stopped a couple cracks in their tracks. Here's a quick vid I made when I was asked about this recently

Some on here have said it won't work on an iPad without GPS. But I've always used an iPad 2 mini - wifi only - and it's worked like a champ. I just tether to my iPhone, load maps, and I'm good to go. Tracking is smooth and as expected.
