Having said all that, and bearing in mind I am a drone pilot, I might not have been too pleased if someone was flying a drone outside my daughter's bedroom window and couldn't see who was flying the drone. Just another viewpoint
Well done for (a) Not panicking and adjusting altitude, which could have been disastrous
(b) Registering the flight prior to the event
It must have been a heart-stopping moment because, as we all know, you would have been blamed if it had ended in tears.
Safe flying and...
Excellent filming and well put together. I only saw you flying the Drone a couple of times, which makes it even more professional. Good choice of music as well. Can you remember the maximum height you achieved ? I bet you gave the guy in the canoe a shock lol.
The test is reasonably straightforward and mostly common sense. You do not have to get it right first time, although you'll feel better if you pass. I got a question wrong but passed. You can see where you went wrong after taking the test. Make sure you label the aircraft before you fly it
Sorry to hear about your loss. That's devastating. I notice Capt KO suggests pro mounts for the P4. Where can these be bought and are they difficult to fit? i knoiw it doesn't help Brentwood but possibly he would fit them if he manages to get hold of a replacement
I seem to remember having read somewhere that there is a system being developed which fits on top of the Phantom and deploys when control is lost. I read that money deposits have been taken from some customers but no one has yet received a model. I think this was mentioned on an post some time...
