I think it's funny how, if its a qualified professional it's ok to crash, but if it's a hobbyist that has thousands of hours flying or operating many types of rc, hang them by the gonads.
I never seen any problems with the data connection. Just the compass error at the end. I sent it back, the camera wheel was screwing up anyway and it was getting the shakes after the firmware update.
The modes changing, the data loss, and it doesn't show the compass error which caused me to land kind of hard, and causing it to flip, it shows the motor obstruction when it flipped over.
Seems to me that if it's an airport that you are working at, maybe, just maybe, there might be an Airplane someone could take you up in and take some pictures
Honestly, when I first got this thing it was perfect , Fast, stopped on a dime, hovered steady, no shaking, now with a few hours on it, not so steady, not so fast, it is cold here so I hope it gets better.
No small yard, it's been crappy in Ohio so haven't flown in awhile, it used to stop on a dime, now it just takes 5 or 6 ft or so to stop. Plus it drifts about 2 of 3 ft. When it does stop.
