The problem is not the Phantom 4 firmware version, is the radio controller version. If you update to 1.8 version you will have artifacts. With 1.6 firmware of radio the image is sharp and good. Bye

In my opinion the best results in HDMI fpv for Phantom 4 I obtain with Walkera Goggle 3. The ratio is 4/3 and the image is sharpeness and very good. I love my Walkera Goggle 3. The battery is inside the goggles and the charger was your smartphone charger. The finiture was very fine.

The secret is the old controller GL300A. Best is a Inspire 1 controller version C. The original GL300C Phantom 4 controller have low signal transmission.
