    My firm tried using the Mavic and it kept delivering wonky models, curved walls, light poles that looked like a sickle. Our phantom is great! The only issue it gives us is the standard windows look a little funky.

    Cell phone towers

    My firm stays away from cell phone towers and transmitters on buildings. We have had drones go nuts when we are within 50' of them.

    What are the min and max limits for drone of higher weight? I know that civilian helicopter use in my area is limited to over 700 AGL except for take offs and landings.

    The altitude problem.

    Using the Phantom RTK it knows its actual altitude and corrects based on the topography. It is kind of cool, and kind of a PIA.

    Flying drone near cell tower

    I wouldn't get within 25' of the top of the tower. A colleague and I had a P4Pro and an Inspire 2 go haywire when we were surveying a tower when we got closer than 25'.

    I went to one of the big box copy stores and bought a scrap of their plastic banner material that is approximately 3'x3' for $5. Folds up nicely and works well with dust and snow.

    It is the Phantom 4, not the pro. Altimeter and everything registers correctly. Camera works. The indicator lights don't light up at all during charging. However, when I turn the RC and drone on the indicators come on and it is charged and works fine, flew it for three hours yesterday.
